About Snyg — Steven Yang

Steven Yang, known online as Snyg, is a Backend Systems & Infrastructure Engineer. This site — snyg.me — is his personal portfolio, presented as a desktop OS: a terminal with a boot sequence and command shell, a projects explorer synced with GitHub, a system monitor, a files app, and contact and settings windows.

What he builds

High-throughput distributed services in Go and Python, PyTorch-backed workers for AI workloads, and the self-hosted infrastructure around them: Docker, Linux systemd services, Proxmox, and K3s agents across a homelab. The guiding rule, quoted in the files app: the best part is no part, and the best process is no process.

Pinned work

  • Pulse — live service monitoring dashboard for homelab infrastructure.
  • SREK3S — SRE toolkit and GitOps bootstrap for K3s homelab clusters.
